In addition to fiction cinema, animation and documentary cinema will have their place in the program with several outstanding works, such as the short film nominated for a Goya in the Best Animated Short Film category, Carmela.
This edition highlights the great variety of genres and themes of the short films, ranging in each session from social drama to the most sensitive melodrama, or from classic horror to the purest humor.
At the end of the last short film of each session, attendees will be able to vote for their favorite short films. Six short films will be presented each day, competing in the national CortoEspaña contest.
The Traveling CortoEspaña Festival gathers in its short film catalog the best short-format cinema works produced in Spain during the last year, projecting this program in dozens of cities and towns across Spain with great attendance success, bringing together thousands of spectators annually.
