4th EDITION OF FICMA. INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL ON OLDER ADULTS

at Archbishop Fonseca College, the opening gala of FICMA Salamanca took place. The gala was directed by actor and comedian Jes Martins, and during the event, the full program will be presented.

For 13 days, festival attendees were able to enjoy numerous activities such as screenings, concerts, and talks, all focusing on older people.

The event is organized by Famasa (Federation of Associations for the Elderly of Salamanca), the University of Salamanca, and the City Council. The festival also has numerous sponsors who have contributed their bit to the project's funding.

A large part of the organization has fallen on USAL students who, through their volunteer program, have worked completely selflessly to make the festival a major event in the city.

Salamanca Film Commission participates as an advisory body to the organization, in addition to contributing human capital to the festival's activities.
