German public television to film in Salamanca

The German public broadcaster ZDF will travel to Salamanca in the coming days to film a documentary about the Vía de la Plata. In the 11-minute video, the production company aims to showcase the most beautiful corners of the Camino, guided by Felix Berhard, who years ago accomplished the great feat of pilgrimaging alone in his wheelchair to Santiago de Compostela.

On July 26th and 27th, the three-person technical team will film images of both the province and the city of Salamanca, accompanied at all times by its protagonist. Afterwards, they will continue until they reach Seville, the place that was Felix Berhard's point of origin. Salamanca Film Commission will be with them throughout the pre-production and filming process of the Documentary, assisting them with everything necessary for permit processing, location scouting, etc.
