Nuru is not an ant like the others. She struggles to keep up with the unstoppable pace of the anthill: when everyone else runs, she stops, gets lost in thought, and is distracted by things that go unnoticed by others. While some ants build tunnels and others fight or collect food, Nuru observes, imagines, gets sidetracked.
One day, tired of not finding her place, she decides to leave and embark on a journey that will take her far from home, through the forest and her fears, but also to discovery and friendship. A tender and brave adventure, with many songs and surprising characters, that speaks to us of personal growth and learning to inhabit our own world.
