The opinions of the Dominican Francisco de Vitoria, the main representative of the so-called 'School of Salamanca', expressed mainly in his re-lectures "De Indis" and "De iure belli", referring to war, human rights and the moral and ethical demands on the "conquistadors" of New Spain, are questioned by the imperial court of Charles V and by the civil and ecclesiastical authorities of the early 16th century.

An emperor's letter, censoring Vitoria, serves Etón teatro, through an original text by Ángel González Quesada, to present an accessible and understandable theatrical piece, in which the great debates referring to the "justice" of war, the rights of the "Indians" and certain instances of "what is just" are made explicit, which not only explain events from five hundred years ago, but which, with hardly any variation, can also explain those of our days.

Original text and direction: Ángel González Quesada
Performers: Marta Benito, Ángel González and Alberto Boyero
