He is currently one of the leading exponents in the research and interpretation of Renaissance and Baroque keyboard music (harpsichord and organ). He gives concerts throughout Europe, as well as in America, Korea, Japan, and Russia. He is professor of organ, harpsichord, and instrumental ensemble at the Civic School of Music in Milan and titular organist of the Ahrend organ at the Basilica of San Simpliciano in that city.

From 2006 to 2015 he was professor of organ at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (Switzerland). As an expert, he has supervised the construction of important organs, including the one in Tokyo Cathedral.
