GUIDED TOURS OF THE HISTORIC CENTER. To highlight the significant women in Salamanca's history, the Clara Campoamor Women's House and its School of Equality are organizing a series of guided city tours throughout May and June.
These free guided tours, organized in collaboration with Turismo de Salamanca, aim to highlight the significant role of several women in the city's history and heritage. The initiative seeks to showcase women considered symbols of the female contribution to the city's history: women who, whether in cultural, social, religious, literary, or historical fields, became central figures of their historical eras. All of this is set in Salamanca, a World Heritage City and a key player in Spain's most pivotal historical events. Eager to learn and share this unique perspective, we look forward to welcoming you all under the city's most famous clock.
