Triquel is a Spanish Celtic music group that was born in Valladolid in 1991 with an idea as clear as it was powerful: to fuse the strength of rock with the ancestral magic of Celtic music. From its first steps, the band understood that this blend was not just a musical style, but a form of expression. Their sound combines energetic guitars, bagpipes and whistles that evoke ancient legends, violins that dance between festive melodies, and lyrics that alternate humor, social criticism, and emotion.

Over more than three decades, Triquel has toured stages throughout Spain and parts of Europe, sharing the bill with Celtic folk and rock luminaries such as Carlos Núñez, Celtas Cortos, The Chieftains, Milladoiro, Hevia, or Gwendal.

Their discography includes the albums Akelarre (1996), Bichos Raros (2002), and Sin hacer ná (2008), as well as other works such as the demo Danzas de Duendes, Meigas y Hadas (1994) and the mini-CD Tres zarpazos (2006).

In 2026, Triquel is celebrating its 35th anniversary with the release of their new album, "Rabia y luz", a work that keeps the group's essence intact while exploring new sounds and emotions.
