PILGRIM HOSTEL CASA LA CALERA

The municipal pilgrim hostel Casa la Calera in Salamanca is a public hostel for pilgrims of the Camino de Santiago on the Vía de la Plata with a credential, located in a central part of Salamanca, next to the Cathedral, in one of the most beautiful areas of the city and close to its commercial and leisure area, and very close to the Camino's route.
Opening hours are from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM and may change depending on pilgrim demand.

The hostel is one of the basic infrastructures for the recovery and enhancement of the Vía de la Plata. It functions not only as accommodation, but also as a pilgrimage and tourist route to promote knowledge among towns.

How to get there:
Upon entering the city, once you have passed the Roman Bridge, follow the Bronze Shells located on the ground that have an “A” inside them.
