Holy Family School

10 minutes
The Colegio Sagrada Familia - Servants of Saint Joseph in Salamanca has a rich history tied to the work of its founder, Saint Bonifacia Rodríguez de Castro, and to a building with a past as a hospital.
Architecture and Features
The school is located on Marquesa de Almarza street, on the site of the old hospital. The current building integrates elements from different architectural styles, such as Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque. Its Claustro de los Francos (Cloister of the Franks) stands out, a Plateresque gallery that was moved and re-located to the school. Inside, the school's chapel, the former church of San Román, houses the sepulchre of Saint Bonifacia Rodríguez de Castro.

Educational Mission
The center, a state-subsidized private school, offers Early Childhood, Primary, and Secondary Education. It is guided by the values of faith, work, and love, with the goal of providing students with a comprehensive education, both academically and personally. The school celebrated its centenary in 2017, solidifying its commitment to education in Salamanca.
