Areas of Work.

The Museum of Commerce and Industry's research focus is the History of Commerce and Industry in Salamanca. To this end, it has developed a program of activities that includes conferences, publications, and agreements with institutions related to historical and commercial research.

Currently, it has focused its efforts on the contemporary era, specifically the period between 1850-1950. Its main objective is to work towards the documentation and conservation of the commercial heritage of that period, understood as part of the industrial and ethnographic heritage.
