The lady appears elegantly dressed with a mantilla and a fan. In addition to the backdrops, the lighting, the sweetness of the sitter, etc., it is worth noting that the photographic retouching was done by Venancio's wife, Francisca Guerra, a photographer, painter, and one of the best retouchers of her time.
Francisca continued improving the photographs of their sons who carried on the business, Amalio and Guzmán, until her death in 1939.

The Alava company Elma was founded in 1924 and remains active a hundred years later.
In old grocery stores or delicatessens, most products were sold in bulk; oil, legumes, coffee, etc. This model was used to manually grind large quantities of coffee and serve it to customers.
