From late June to early September, twelve cultural heritage sites will play host to eight events as part of the 2012 summer cultural calendar.
The Úrsulas, the Patio de Escuelas and the Plaza de San Benito will be the venue for a new series of Vidas y Ficciones (Real Life and Fiction).
This year’s street theatre has transferred to the Plaza de los Bandos providing greater access for visitors, while the Cueva de Salamanca will play host to a variety of magic acts.
As to music, flamenco will headline at the Plaza de Anaya and the chamber music concerts will be held at wonderful venues such as Patio de la Salina, Huerto de Calixto y Melibea, Casa de las Conchas courtyard and the San Esteban atrium. Similarly, the Santo Domingo Gardens will once again host a series of jazz concerts.
Film buffs are also catered to with screenings projected straight onto the facades of the Old Cathedral, in the Plaza de Juan XXIII.
